Introduction
Welcome to Marketing Engineering. The IT Staff section
is designed to support you in installing and maintaining
Marketing Engineering software in a computer lab setting.
Installing Marketing Engineering in a computer lab is
a simple and straightforward process.
We currently have two products which may be used in the computer lab.
Marketing Engineering for Excel
- Purchase a Multi-user University License - a University license grants you the right to install Marketing Engineering for Excel software on multiple machines. One license is required for each student in the class. The software may be installed on more machines though to elimate the need to dedicate certain machines in the lab to the Marketing Engineering for Excel software.
- Download and install the Marketing Engineering for Excel software - The software
should provide the students everything they
need to run Marketing Engineering for Excel. The software requires Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework to be installed prior. It is
recommended that you install one version of Marketing
Engineering for Excel software and authenticate it before cloning
it to other machines. This ensures that you will not
have to activate the software on each additional machine. Please see the Marketing Engineering for Excel Network Getting Started Guide for more details on installation.
Marketing Engineering Classic v2.4

NOTE: Does not work with Excel 2007)
- Purchase
a Marketing Engineering Classic v2.4 Site License - A site license grants you the
right to install Marketing Engineering Classic v2.4 software on
multiple machines. The site license is a floating
license governed by the number of simultaneous users
so an individual license is not needed for every PC
where the software is installed. After purchasing
a site license, you will be granted a user name and
password. This user name and password activates the
software during install. Please check to see if the
instructor has already purchased a license for Marketing
Engineering. If so, the professor will be able to
provide you with the user name and password required
to activate the software.
- Download and install
Marketing Engineering Classic v2.4 Software Suite - The software
suite should provide the students everything they
need to run Marketing Engineering. There should be
no need for additional downloads or installs. It is
recommended that you install one version of Marketing
Engineering software and activate it before cloning
it to other machines. This ensures that you will not
have to activate the software on each additional machine.

To assist you in installing our software in a computer
lab setting, our technical support staff does its best
to answer all your questions in a timely manner. In
order to facilitate the support process, please keep
the following policies in mind when contacting us:
- Use the website
ticket system - Regular email can be
lost or blocked by spam filters.
- Be precise when reporting a problem
- send as many details as you can (ie, what environment,
application, etc.).
